Follow your gut, its always right...

So I finally went out to lunch with the persistent guy. Jason. He has sent me a couple emails, we talked on the phone once, and then I was bombarded with texts. These texts were some of the same texts that made me put the post up that said :-) and OMG should not be sent. His text messages were so annoying I didn't want to see him at all, even though he was pretty good looking and the conversation wasnt too bad.

Well finally I did it. We met at Borders bookstore and I was in the travel section looking for books for Thailand. He walked up and recognized me and he wasnt too bad. Huh, I thought, see- cant always base your opinions off texts! WRONG. 2 minutes later and he was talking exactly how he wrote. Putting his big smiley human face all in my space. Saying OH MY GOD, OMG, when I said I was going to Thailand, over over excited about anything I would say.

Oh, we went next door to the world market... It was 1:30 pm by the way... and what do we do? Sit at a table and talk. WHERE IS MY FOOD? My stomach was killing me. I couldnt even get into the conversation because my blood sugar was so low. He continued to ask me more questions and then get awe struck by my answers until a half hour later, he said he had to go catch a plane to LA.

Sooooo, he walked me to my car, hugged me, and said he'd call me when he got back in town. At that point I pretended to leave, turned back around, parked and went in and ate some lovely Indian food by myself.

I heart dating.
