So David Caro Greene. What a mix of interesting'ness. You look at him in certain angles and he is good looking, then you look at him across the room and not so much. Picked me up after work, wearing a suit. Little heavier then I thought he would be, little quieter. We talked the night before for about an hour and he was a mix of feelings. He wanted to meet a good Jewish girl or a Portuguese woman. I fit no where into that mix but he said that I brought out a funny part of him. There was no real chemistry and I think we both new it, but he was interesting company for sure.
He brought me to an open mike night at a bar/grill/open mike place in Berkeley. He sat us next to this guy who I had way more chemistry with named Pablo who was 53. He liked me. You could clearly tell that. And the more Pablo liked me the less David did. He signed himself up so we were waiting for him to take the stage, all the while Pablo asking me questions about my life while David spoke to this guy across from us about his.
So finally David took the stage and in his 3 piece suit, busts out a rap- then song- then rap. It was pretty interesting. Pablo was sitting next to me the entire time. This is so strange and surreal. Pablo was white by the way, from Hermosa Beach. Old time surfer who was actually pretty cute.
So after he was done, he said time to go and off we went. On the way home he told me how he enjoyed my company, how I made him smile, but he doesnt see any chemistry. I said you know, I feel the same way. You are a cool, and quite interesting guy. But I think if you cant imagine kissing someone, it probably wont get a lot further then just friends! But I definitely appreciate the honesty and then he said he really wants to hang out again. That he likes the way I make him feel. Then he asked me if I wanted to set him up with Pablo. Haha. I told him thanks but no thanks.
He was the rapping, suite wearing, oxymoron. Interesting for sure.
